Image File Formats
After our graphic designer creates your new logo, we will provide you the logo in all the standard industry formats
that you will need for your marketing efforts. We've listed below a few notes that will help you to understand when and how to use the files.
JPEG, TIFF
The .jpg and .tif files are for use in most pc programs (i.e. Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Publisher)
WMF
The .wmf file gives you a transparent background (i.e. great for in Powerpoint when you have a slide with a color background and you don't want to see a white box surrounding your logo)
EPS
The .eps files are used by graphic designers, you probably won't need to use these except for sending to a printer or designer
RGB
rgb means red, green, blue, and are logos that generally work best for screen use (i.e. web and Powerpoint)
CMYK
cmyk means cyan, magenta, yellow, black, and is generally used when printing (i.e. printing to your color printer at work)
Black
Black is for when you want a nice quality black and white printout of your logo
